About Drea
Clothing is personal — it tells a story, shapes how we feel, and stays with us through life’s moments. I design and sew each piece with the hope that it will become part of your story, something you’ll reach for again and again because it feels just right.
I grew up surrounded by the hum of sewing machines and the magic of handmade craft. Both of my grandmothers were skilled in traditional crafts, and my aunt worked as a seamstress. Creativity and making were simply part of my world. As a child, I stitched little dresses for my dolls, and by the time I was fifteen — with my very first sewing machine — I was creating clothes for myself.
I’m originally from Slovakia, but now I’m based in Finland, where I studied fashion design with a focus on sustainability. I believe clothing should be more than beautiful — it should be timeless, well-fitting, and made to last. Every piece I create is sewn by my own hands from natural materials, with the hope that it will be worn and loved for many years.
My process often starts with the fabric itself — its texture, movement, and potential — and the excitement of solving design challenges. I focus on dresses because of their femininity and the way they make women feel special, but I always design with practicality in mind. Adjustable features, comfort, and wearability are just as important to me as the beauty of the garment.
For me, Dressed by Drea is more than a brand. It’s an invitation to slow down, cherish quality, and celebrate the connection between the maker and the wearer. Every piece is made just for you — because you deserve something truly personal.
